Light the Night - Gymnastics

On Saturday, October 11, the Maryland Club Gymnastics Team put on their walking shoes and lit up their balloons to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Light the Night walk is a walk done in honor of those suffering and surviving blood cancer. With the help of family and friends, the Club Gymnastics team raised over $500 dollars to support this wonderful cause. Each participant is given a balloon at the walk that lights up. All the balloons are lit up at once and it is an amazing sight to see all the balloons of those who have come out in support. It was an amazing experience for the whole team and we hope to continue our fund-raising efforts. If you are interested in learning more about Light the Night or the Leukemia and Lymphoma society check out their website at http://www.lightthenight.org/.
