ClubTennis: USTA Tennis On Campus National Club of the Year

University of Maryland's Club Tennis has been named National Club of the Year!

The team's great achievement have been recognized by USTA Maryland Board of Directors, Mid-Atlantic Section Coordinators, former club presidents, fellow Mid-Atlantic Universities and UMD's Campus Recreation.  Competing with over 500 club programs, UMD brings the award to the  Mid-Atlantic Section rising above all other university tennis programs across the nation!!

Recently, the club has been recognized for many other accomplishments including a $1,000 prize for winning the Mid-Atlantic Tennis on Campus Team of the Year. Additionally, at Sectionals, Subodh Arora and Tiffany Lin won the tournament sportsmanship awards and the team collected a bid to Nationals through their second place finish.

All proceeds are being donated to America's Vet Dogs, a nonprofit that uses guide dogs, service dogs, and innovative technology to help disabled veterans and active duty personnel.
